Snow postpones new term at Warwickshire schools

Snow has meant some schools in Warwick annd Kenilworth have been forced to shut today (Tuesday January 5).
Icy conditions on Monday followed by snowfall on Tuesday afternoon, led some headteachers to decide to close their schools.
In Warwick, Aylesford School and Myton School closed completely on Tuesday and Kenilworth Children's Centre and Nursery School was partially closed due to a boiler failure that morning.
In rural areas, Moreton Morrell Primary School, Kineton High School, Tysoe Primary School and Wolverton Primary School in Norton Lindsey were also closed due to the weather.
