UPDATE ON CURRENT MYTON SCHOOL CLOSURE

Wednesday 6th January 2010, 3pm.

The site team at Myton have been working very hard today to clear pathways and access points to our site, we have added salt and grit to paths and so far we have used half of our reserves. However, there has been a heavy fall of snow on the site overnight and we still have an awful lot to do.

Problems may occur if there is a significant drop in temperature later today and tonight as this may make our pathways and driveways unusable. Therefore we will make a final decision at 6.00 am this morning (Thursday 7th January) and if we are closed this will be communicated in the usual way.
